Advance Union Roadshows: Where we have been and what's coming up

Over the past few months, our Advance Union roadshows have taken us across several sites, giving us the chance to meet members and non-members face-to-face, listen to what matters most, and strengthen our presence across the bank.

What we’ve done so far…..

Our recent visits, including Bradford, Glasgow, Unity Place and other key locations, have been a real success. Each roadshow has given colleagues the opportunity to:

  • Speak directly with reps and the Advance Union leadership team.
  • Raise questions about workplace issues, benefits, and support.
  • Learn more about the role Advance plays in shaping pay, policy, and fairness.
  • Share feedback on what’s working well with Advance and where improvements are needed.
  • Connect with us in a relaxed, informal setting.

We’ve had fantastic engagement from both members and non-members, with many colleagues telling us how valuable it is to have Advance visible and accessible on site. These conversations help shape our priorities and ensure we’re representing you in the strongest way possible.

What’s coming up next….

We’re keeping the momentum going with more roadshows planned over the summer. Here’s what’s on the horizon:

  • Redhill – 17 June We’ll be back on site to meet colleagues, answer questions and continue building our presence. Posters and comms have been shared, and we’re looking forward to another strong turnout.
  • Unity Place – 8 July A full day of engagement across Floors 4 and 5, plus a dedicated Senior Leadership presentation. We’ll be running pop‑ups, speaking with colleagues, and gathering feedback to help shape our future work.
  • Triton Square – August. We’ll be hosting pop‑ups throughout the day and continuing to build our on-site presence. This visit will give colleagues the chance to speak with us in person, ask questions, share feedback and learn more about the support available through Advance.
  • Additional Sites We’re currently planning further visits across the network, ensuring we reach as many colleagues as possible. Dates and details will be shared soon.
