Sign up for Connect – the free monthly email supporting thousands of bank workers

Connect is the free monthly email from Bank Workers Charity, designed to help you navigate life’s ups and downs.

Designed with Bank Worker’s past and present in mind, the newsletter takes a deep dive into a key wellbeing topic, sharing practical tips, expert insight and carefully chosen resources.

What’s coming up in 2026

  • Women’s health at work (Thursday 5 March)
Ahead of International Women’s Day, we’re focusing on women’s health – particularly in the workplace. Too often, work isn’t set up around the realities of women’s health and life stages, and that can push people out of jobs unnecessarily. We explore things that everyone can do to make a difference.
  • When problems come all at once (Tuesday 7 April)
Our data shows that many bank workers face overlapping pressures at work and at home. In this edition of Connect, we look at practical ways to cope, and where to find support when challenges around money, health, family and work start to pile up.

Why the words we use really matter (Tuesday 12 May)
The way we talk – to others and to ourselves – can shape how we cope with pressure, stress and change. For Mental Health Awareness Week, we explore how everyday language affects our mental health, and how small shifts in words can have a real and positive impact.
