As we say farewell to two long-standing Advance colleagues, Irene and Abbie, who worked for many years at the union office,  we welcome two new additions.

Alex Lappas joined the Advance team in October and previously worked in the National Probation Service, where he found a real passion for helping people through tricky situations and making sure, they feel supported and making a genuine difference. Outside of work, Alex is a big reader and a massive Arsenal fan.  He will focus on direct member engagement on our helpline.

Steve White is known to many of you and we are delighted to have him on board. Steve’s skills and experience as a rep and knowledge of the bank will be invaluable to the team. Steve will focus on assisting the officers of the union as  well as helping members at first point of contact.
