Joint Webinar on Supporting the Menopause at work
Time zone: (UTC+00:00) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London
Microsoft Teams meeting
We’re in the middle of a menopause revolution.
Affecting an estimated 13 million people in the UK, menopause was a taboo subject for too long, but in recent years it has been recognised as a key well-being issue. Now the topic of many high-profile and national conversations, it is increasingly being seen as a workplace well-being priority, with many employers introducing support measures for affected employees.
Despite this progress, however, there remains a general lack of knowledge about the day-to-day impact of the menopause at work. All too often, line managers feel unequipped to support employees or feel uncomfortable engaging in conversations around the issue.
This webinar looks at how people are affected by the menopause at work, the different approaches to offering support and how to create a menopause-friendly environment within the team.
This session includes a live Q&A.
Webinar overview:
- Who does it affect and how?
- Impact of the menopause at work
- How can line managers support staff affected by the menopause?
- Examples of support in the workplace
