Further to resolutions held at last weeks NEC meeting to change the role of Chair to that of President, and that the role is vacant following the resignation of Cathy Kelly we are now pleased to seek candidates for the position of President to take office after completion of the election process until the end of 2027.

To be eligible to stand for the position of President or Vice-President of the National Executive Committee, you must have been a member of the National Executive Committee in the last three years and work within Advance Union’s bargaining group.  Nominees must be proposed by one eligible member and seconded by 4 others from no fewer the 3 separate areas.

If more than one candidate applies a further period of two weeks will allow candidates to share an election address to eligible members that Advance Union will publish and allow us to appoint an independent scrutineer to oversee the election process.
